Rayanna's
Hope for Africa is a group of grandmothers and grand-others who have agreed to
come together to raise money and awareness for the plight of African
grandmothers. These African grandmothers have not only lost their children
to the HIV/AIDS pandemic, but now are faced with the often daunting task of
raising their grandchildren. Our promise to them is this "We shall
not rest until you can rest". Rayanna's Hope is the Stony Plain
chapter of Grandmothers to Grandmothers, a campaign of the Stephen Lewis
Foundation, formed to create a legacy in honour of Rayanna Hope Trotter, a
daughter of Africa.
